The Norway Spruce is the traditional Christmas Tree dating from Victorian times. This is the tree that most of us remember from our childhoods. Lots of foliage and a wonderful smell of Christmas. The needles are quite sharp however and tend to drop more easily than the newer varieties. The ideal tree for an outdoor location these trees are widely grown and offer good value and a great nostalgic look. Make sure your Norway spruce is well watered to ensure optimum needle retention. The Nordmann Fir is now the most popular choice of Christmas trees for London consumers largely becqause of it's 'Low Drop' characteristics. With a wonderful rounded shape and softer needles this is the Xmas Tree to choose if you are looking for good needle retention. Ideally suited to an indoor location it's softer needles make it very pet and child friendly but it takes longer to grow and therefore costs a little more to buy - but it's worth it ! Please make sure to water your tree daily and make sure you position it away from radiators or spotlights which will dry it out and result in premature needle drop. At Trent Park we want to ensure you get the best quality fresh Christmas tree that looks great, smells great and lasts the whole Festive Season.
